Privacy notice.

How we use information when you visit our website or get in touch.

Updated 7 October 2026.

Who is responsible

Baywo is the Hertfordshire marketing business run by Tom and Liam. Baywo is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. For questions or a request about your information, email hello@baywo.co.uk.

Information we collect

If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and the message you choose to send. If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we receive the contact details and information you share through that channel. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver the site, prevent spam and keep it secure.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to reply, discuss your project, prepare a proposal and keep a record of the conversation. Where you are asking us to provide a service to you, this is processing needed to take steps towards a contract. For business enquiries and routine correspondence, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people and operating the business. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting the website from misuse.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. We do not sell enquiry information.

Who receives it

We use website hosting, enquiry-form processing and email service providers to run our website, receive and store enquiries, prevent spam and manage correspondence. These providers process information as part of providing those services. If you choose WhatsApp, it processes your message under its own terms and privacy policy.

Providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable transfers are governed by the provider's data-processing terms and transfer safeguards. You can ask us for details or a copy of the safeguards relevant to your information by emailing hello@baywo.co.uk.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the request and any resulting work. When deciding whether to retain a record, we consider whether the conversation or client relationship is ongoing, whether it is needed for an agreed project, and whether accounting, legal obligations or a dispute require it. Records no longer needed should be deleted from our enquiry and correspondence records. Contact us if you would like us to review or delete an enquiry.

Analytics and cookies

Optional analytics is currently switched off. This website does not use Google Analytics cookies.

If enabled, optional Google Analytics uses visit and interaction information to help us understand which pages people use and whether they click a contact link or successfully send an enquiry. Clicks do not tell us whether a call or WhatsApp conversation took place. We do not send your name, email address, message or phone number to Analytics.

Google's analytics cookies can recognise a browser between visits and last for up to six months. We do not use this analytics for advertising personalisation. Analytics uses your consent; you can reject it or withdraw consent through Analytics settings in the footer. Your choice is stored on your device for up to six months so we can respect it. If you withdraw, future measurement stops and analytics cookies are removed where possible. Withdrawing does not undo processing that already took place.

Google may process analytics information outside the UK under its terms and safeguards. See Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, have it deleted, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent to optional analytics at any time. Email hello@baywo.co.uk to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity, and some rights are subject to legal exceptions.

You can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Other websites linked from this site have their own privacy notices. If our use of information changes, we will update this notice and its date.
